A recent rebrand for The Saltwater Creek Hotel in Helensvale, QLD. The brief was to create a warm, inviting and fun venue identity that channels the hotel’s masculine energy while still appealing to a broad demographic.
The brand centres on a bright, energetic colour palette, bold playful typography and cartoon-style illustrations.
With live sport as the hotel’s main drawcard, I developed a sports-inspired mascot as the hero of the identity: “Salty” the Mangrove Jack appears throughout the venue rollout and provides a distinctive tone of voice for the hotel.
